Gaddafi on being rebuffed by Hugo Chavez and other Hugo tales

August 29, 2011

Reportedly this is a conversation between Gaddafi and his son, in which he refers to our august leader in no uncertain terms:

I don’t know what  this bloated Venezuelan dog thinks. Chavez is a coward. He has  sold himself to the Zionists. Yesterday, when probed about the possibility of moving to Venezuela in case the unthinkable happens, he began to falter like the eunuch comedian that used to make my grandfather laugh. He is a dog traitor. He told me it was not convenient for me to stay in Venezuela. And all the attentions we had for this devil!  The Libyan people’s wealth at their disposal. Our revolutionary wisdom. When he learned that we had put his name to the stadium in Benghazi he began to cry, like a mourner of the desert! Treating me like this, supposedly a comrade, a universal leader, a recognized giant of world revolution. Chavez is a miserable wimp, an impostor. A lot of verbal diarrhea, but where is the help he promised? He is unable to take risks, to confront their enemies with violence. As we have done, liquidating traitors, here and abroad. And will continue to do …

That Chavez is almost as rogue as Berlusconi. Because the Venezuelan is an opportunist masquerading as a revolutionary. Instead Berlusconi behaved with us like an open cynic, a gangster in love with gold.

I love the “opportunist masquerading as a revolutionary” part, I guess it takes one to know one…

I have no clue if the above story is true, but apparently Chavez does not even believe that the scenes from Tripoli are real, believing that it was all taped in Qatar using professional actors:

And just to make the point he once again questions whether the US got to the moon, using the old: Is there wind on the moon? in reference to the American flag on the pictures. I am sure the Cabinet took notice of his wise words.

In the video of Chavez, who is the woman in the yellow jacket? The expression on her face was priceless: A small burst of surprise at the blatant lie, and then studied acceptance of the new “truth”. Then we had the bearded man with a pretty good poker face covering his mouth with his hands to avoid telegraphing any expression.

There is a worldwide Conspiracy Industry that has been churning out plots for the past 40 years…..some say it is the new religion.

Julian Assange has a worldview that includes demolishing what he sees as “authoritarian, militaristic and corporation-friendly Western systems of government”. Assange has paranoid tendencies and mountains of conspiracy theories.

Unfortunately the paranoid type personality is a very common one…..paranoia basically stems from the fear of not being in control.Given any entity with lots of power, like some nations have, there will be plenty of people who become paranoid concerning any of their doings……

The scarey thing on the personal level for some of these people is that the worst thing you can do to a paranoid personality is lie….but that is precisely what most people are tempted to do when in their presence.

  6. JMA Says:

It is not a true account. It is a satire, although it wouldn’t be much far from the truth.

  7. Kepler Says:

Please, Miguel…it is a satire (the “conversation”) and it’s very clear it is a satire.
By the way: Muslims also cut off their foreskins (see end of satire in the source).

  8. firepigette Says:

Kepler, satire is not “funny”, nor is meant to be…

      • CharlesC Says:

I will tell you funny- Chavez spending top dollar to “look good”.
“haute couture” actually- I guess it is not meant to be…
Chavez looking in a mirror asking himself “Am I still a hunk?”
That must be funny to someone?

    • Ira Says:

Satire is the funniest humor there is–because it’s so strongly based on truth.

    • JMA Says:

      Satire (Noun):

      1. the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc.

      2. a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derision, or ridicule.

      3. a literary genre comprising such compositions.

    • JMA Says:

I believe definition No. 2 is the one that best applies to the article in question, which was indeed funny because it describes these two thugs quite well.

BTW, Gaddafi cannot go to Venezuela because his plane was seized by the rebels a few days ago. And, it’s not like he would be able to board a commercial flight to Caracas, would he now? No, he is still in Libya trying to evade the rebels who are actively hunting him down. I will cheer for their success!

  9. captainccs Says:

Not only is it missing countless reverences to Allah, the Muslims are circumcised:

“Aprovecharían la circuncisión forzada para asesinarme.”

That Chavez is a coward, for that we don’t need foreign confirmation.

  11. concerned Says:

Chavez sure looks healthy and plump for somebody going through chemo.

    • Ira Says:

Have you ever seen a real hog–and by that I mean a real pig that oinks and everything–who’s died from natural causes?

      Well, they’re still FAT!!!

    • JMA Says:

It is all BS. First, cancers produce great quantities of chemical mediators that suppress appetite. Second, cancers feed from the patient’s energy reserves to grow. Those two reasons alone are more than enough to result in a pronounced weight loss. In fact, one of the first things we physicians always have to suspect when patients present with a substantial weight loss is cancer. On top of that, he is supposed to have undergone major surgery to extract the tumor, and also had a major infection (pelvic abscess, which is indeed a very serious condition). By now, he should have lost at the very least about 40% of his weight. However, he looks like a well fed hog. As I said, it is all BS.

      • Syd Says:

steroids as a possible agent of severe facial bloating?
otherwise, he does NOT look healthy. He does not just look fat. Something’s going on. And pardon me for stating the obvious, but not all physicians are good clinicians.

        • JMA Says:

Well, the lesson will start now:

First, steroids DO NOT fatten people. That is a misconception. When patients are chronically treated with steroids, they experience SELECTIVE deposition of fat in their bodies. They develop moon facies and buffalo humps, for instance. BUT, that is IF they are ONLY taking steroids. IF, you had taken the time to thoroughly read what I was trying to explain, you would have understood that it would be really difficult for him not to have lost a lot of weight. Do yourself a favor and read again my comment. Do not try to disparage the messenger, merely because you do not agree. Go to medical school, have a 20+ year in medical practice, and then and just then dare to produce a comment.

          • Syd Says:

Listen cowboy. don’t get your twig in a knot. And read my first sentence. It suggested steroids as a possible agent of severe FACIAL BLOATING. That lay observation is based on knowing several who have taken medications for any number of medical conditions, later in life, and not just steroids.

Btw, genius with a god complex, my lay observation is also aided by a few generations of specialized physicians in my family. Call it acute observation skills by proxy, as well as those skills through other disciplines. (What! You think that only medical school provides one with good observation skills?)

Now, instead of shooting from the hip, try to direct that energy to observing these aspects … Check out the cut of his clothing. Is he busting out of his uniform, suggesting terrific weight gain? Look at the hunch in his shoulders. Does that suggest vigour, health and strength to you?

As I said, not all physicians are good clinicians. That observation was also shared by my father, a well known physician.

            • JMA Says:

OK, I do not need to read your IGNORANCE again. And don’t give me that failed argument that claims that someone in your family is a physician. Read carefully. You will never, ever, have the insight of a physician unless you go to med school and practice for any number of years. When you do, talk to me again to see if you have learned something. I am not waisting my time with you anymore.

            • Syd Says:

              whatever.
I’ve seen enough, from your assumption that I said that steroids fatten people (which is not what I said) to your pretense that with regards to Chávez’s health/cancer “it is all BS”.

            • bobthebuilder Says:

woW! How small can we go?!

  12. Ira Says:

    HAH!!!! THIS IS GREAT!!!

I forgot all about that stupid stadium in Libya that they named after him!!!

    By the way, Miguel:

What deals/wonderful projects did Chavez promise because of his alliance with Ghaddafi? (Aside from any oil deals which make no sense between two oil suppliers anyway.)

Did Libya promise fresh milk, superior bicycles, more economical cars, or underwear that doesn’t ride up your ass-crack?

With all of the bullshit coming out of Stupigo’s mouth the last 12 years, it’s hard to keep track.

    • CharlesC Says:

“What deals/wonderful projects did Chavez promise because of his alliance with Ghaddafi?” I asked this last week.I think I remember- Chavez said something about defending his “brother” with his life when he presented
Qadaffi with the replica of Sword of Bolivar.(By the way-they actually slept together in those tents- didn’t they-both when Chavez visited Libya and when Qadaffi came to Margarita Island.)
And-note how yesterday Chavez was nodding and waving and talking to “black Venezuelans” -(have you noticed the huge black Cuban bodyguards sometimes seen around Chavez-look at photos of Chavez visiting Argentina-for example)Chavez has on occasion mentioned his
african blood- I wonder how much he really has? Seems like he has
more Indio than African -but majority is European…
Actually- I doubt if very many Moslems actually “trust” Chavez-
I remember rumors -long time ago -Chavez actually had CIA
      connections-“had” -but – now- KGB ->?

      • CharlesC Says:

Another of Chavez’s best friends -a ‘brother’ he gave a replica of Bolivar’s Sword to- Mugabe- may be gone soon-either death-or finally thrown out.
Very interersting to compare Chavez and Mugabe- many similarities.
It has been said they both are extremely paranoid-Mugabe has N. Korean bodyguards, Chavez-Cuban bodyguards.
Political analysts say Mugabe’s choice of friends is now premised on securing allies in those countries whose leaders are seen as holding onto power at all costs.
        A commentary about Mugabe said this;

“He is inclined towards friendship that mirrors his own behavior,” says Zimbabwean political analyst Pedzisayi Ruhanya. “The common denominator is their love for long incumbency sustained through dictatorship and a culture of not being accountable to anyone.”
        Does that ring a bell??

“Internationally, a number of countries have stood firm behind Zimbabwe at the time of our greatest need, among which are our all weather friends like China, Russia, Cuba and Brazil,” Mugabe said
Sounds exactly like what Chavez said about a month ago…

Mugabe and Chávez. First, their regimes have increasingly become aggressive and totalitarian. Second, Chávez intimidates the media in the same way that Mugabe has done it for years. For example, Chávez Gag law is similar to a law Zimbabwe passed in 2002 giving the government power to muzzle and close independent channels

        • CharlesC Says:

Ambassador Emagrabi is being accused of leading Libyan nationals in Harare who staged a protest against Gaddafi at the embassy on Wednesday. The demonstrators pulled down the official Libyan flag and burned it, before raising the flag belonging to the rebels, or the National Transition Council (NTC) as it’s being called.

“From today, August 24, we follow the Libyan majority, the Libyan people, through our National Transitional Authority,” Elmagrahi told reporters outside the embassy. “We are here representing the Libyan people and not Gaddafi. I am not Gaddafi’s ambassador. I represent the Libyan people.”

Officials from Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said they no longer recognise Elmagrahi and that the hoisting of the NTC’s red, black and green flag at the embassy was illegal. Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Joey Bimha confirmed that they have recommended to the Immigration Department that the ambassador’s legal status be reviewed.

On Friday several reports quoted Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi as having given the ambassador five days to leave the country. SW Radio Africa sought an interview with Ambassador Elmagrahi to confirm this and was told he was out of the office and would only be able to speak to us on Monday.

The decision by ZANU PF comes as no surprise, given the close ties between Gaddafi and Mugabe.

The decision by ZANU PF to expel the Libyan ambassador and side with the toppled Gaddafi further fuelled speculation that the tyrant, wanted by the International Criminal Court, might have fled to Zimbabwe. Former Ethiopian Dictator Mengistu Haille Mariam, wanted for genocide, is already holed up in Zimbabwe.

Chemotherapy affects the entire human body. It appears that it has attacked El Presidente’s brain cells. Instant Alzheimers and amnesia coupled with Pinnocchio aspects are possible results. We are looking for the list of things that Prezes Chavez and Obama have done for the Libyian freedom fighters. Or Syrian and Bahrani protesters. I almost forgot the current Egyptian dissidents in ” Freedom square and those Haitians in plastic tents. S.

      Miguel:

I have seen many cancer patients. Problem is, this one is progressing spectacularly. If this were and advanced cancer as his treatment suggests, he would be in a far worse condition than he appears to be. It is either a no cancer or something in a very early stage and he is trying to make it appear as something really serious. But, what do I know, I am just a physician.

      • CharlesC Says:

Doc, greetings. I wrote comments denying the story about cancer-because it made no sense- the sequence- first an operation, then-second operation-they found a “cancer the size of a baseball”- how could you miss something that big the first time?

        • Ira Says:

Was it a baseball or a softball?

Anyway, I see no reason for Chavez to make up the story–unless it’s another illness he’s even MORE ashamed to admit to. I see no end-game for him to pretend it to be MORE serious than it really is,,,and when you actually look at his statements, I don’t see how anyone can claim that this is the case:

All he keeps saying is that he’s better and he’s getting cured.

    • Kepler Says:

I am no physician at al but I know some good ones and they are saying the same thing as Mr JMA
